JAMMU, Oct 28: President, Criminologists Society of J&K and Senior Panel Counsel, Government of India, Advocate Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, has been invited to present a paper outlining his newly developed Crime Theory in the forthcoming 18th World Congress of Criminology, which is going to be held in India for the first time in December 2016 at Jindal Global University, Haryana.
In a message to Jamwal, Emillio C. Viano, President of International Society of Criminology, which enjoys advisory status with United Nations and Council of Europe, UNESCO, etc., has conveyed the acceptance of his abstract of paper on the topic “Understanding Crime, Changing Criminal Behaviors, the Yogic Way”.
The theme of the summit would be ‘Urbanization, Globalization, Development and Crime: Opportunities and Challenges of the XXI Century’. Panel discussions will focus on critical issues pertaining to Extremism, Terrorism and Warfare: Mass Violence and its Impact on Society, Victimization of Vulnerable Populations: Crimes against Women and Children etc.
Jamwal will present his thoughts on the decision making processes of mind, the Indian philosophical views about the reasons of criminality and the ways to change the criminal behaviors, which concept is altogether different from the reasons of criminality advanced so far and will present his views about the ways to tackle and change criminal behaviors.
