RAJOUR, Oct 28: A dead body of a youth hailing from New Plots area of Jammu was found hanging from a tree in Kalakote area today.
A police spokesman identified the deceased as one Lokesh Sharma (in early thirties), son of Om Parkash, resident of New Plots, Jammu. It was later established that Lokesh had gone to see his relatives at village Bera Goa in Kalakote tehsil of district Rajouri, He went missing during last night and today his dead body was found hanging from a tree in the nearby forest area.
The relatives and local villagers reported the matter to police. Then Kalakote police party led by SHO reached the spot and after examining the spot, it shifted the body to Kalakote hospital for postmortem. Later, the body was handed to the family members who arrived there from Jammu after coming to know about the matter. The police registered a case and started investigation.
