JAMMU, Sept 16: During the ongoing “Pitri Paksh” days Management of the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust has decided to pay their rich tribute to the Indian soldiers / paramilitary forces, who laid down their lives for protecting the border of the country, Indian soil and Indians against any kind of threats of enemies whether internal or external.
“They not only secure our borders, but give selfless service by serving the nation in internal problems as well, keep our country’s flag high. It is their selfless love towards the nation that they make them to offer the supreme sacrifice while fighting with the enemies. “This flag remembers our protectors, about over 125 crore Indians who can sleep comfortably just because they know that our brave soldiers are there to protect the border”, this was stated by Pawan Kumar Gupta, president Jammu Yatri Bhawan at a press conference here today.
He said Shraadh Paksha is one of the most significant times to remember our great War Heroes who sacrificed their life for protecting our border and it is the time to pay homage to these departed noble souls to rest in peace. As per holy Srimad Bhagavad Gita “the body is destructible, who sacrifice their lives for the nation, their soul remains immortal”, he added .
He said “this time in the memory of our great War Heroes, who sacrifice their lives for protecting the security and integrity of the nation, Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust is making elaborate arrangement for religious discourses and rituals to be reserved at Haridwar “Shiv Pouri” near Sarvanand Ghat at their own and pray to almighty for their salvation (Mukti Prapati) on the day of Amasiya falling due on 19/20-09-2017.
Shastri Ji said it is also decided that in future if any family of the War Heroes who intend to perform rituals of their deceased family member may also contact Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust. Jammu Yatri Bhawan shall feel honour for making proper arrangements for performing rituals of their family members
He said, the Pind and Brahmin Bhoj for Brahamans will be performed under the guidance of highly competent scholars / priests at Haridwar.
This is also a homage to be paid by the Trust in respect of our War Heroes, who sacrifice everything for us and our country. They leave their family, friends, home and all comforts for securing our comforts to whom we cannot afford to pay the debt of their service and sacrifice, he added.
