Jammu West deserves better deal in development: Jamwal

JAMMU, Nov 21- National Conference (NC) candidate for   Jammu Dharmvir Singh Jamwal today said that his constituency deserves a better deal with regard to development, adding that next six years will witness a massive effort to make it model in the entire region.
We will not dither from our chosen path of ensuring development and equal opportunities of progress to all”, Mr Jamwal said while addressing election meetings at Gol Mohalla ,Talab Tillo and Shant Nagar.
He said Jammu West has suffered due to mis-representation over the years and this wrong will have to be erased for putting the constituency on fast track development. He said utility services are required   to upgraded with focus on power, drinking water and road development.
Vowing that N C would not allow the political chameleons to succeed in their nefarious designs and will fight the elements inimical to State’s glorious traditions with full might, Mr Jamwal reiterated that the only agenda of opponents is to create obstacles in the path of development and progress.
He referred to the revolutionary measures taken by Omar Abdullah in empowering the people and strengthening democratic institutions in the State. He said election to Panchayats after 33 years and introduction of Right to Information and Public Services Gurantee Acts are the major steps to achieve this objective.
Mr Jamwal gave an overview of the achievements of the Omar led Government during the past six years and said this has transformed the State in a big way. He said enviable performance has been registered in each sector of development which raises hopes about Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh touching new heights of progress in the coming years.
