Sir,
In the editorial ‘Step-motherly treatment’ Dec 18, 2017, you have drawn the attention of the Government towards the discrimination being meted out to Jammu Tourism and have rightly accused the State Government of meting out step-motherly treatment in this regard, it is least interested in monitoring various projects (Patnitop, Mantalai, Sanasar-Mansar, Tawi Artificial Lake, Ropeway, Sewerage) and ensure their time-bound completion as several timelines have already been missed. There can not be two opinions that Jammu leadership as part of the coalition Government inside and outside the legislature is ineffective and has become unresponsive to the sentiments of their constituencies. There is not equitable development in any constituency. The rules and response and even issues change when an opposition party like BJP becomes part of coalition Government. Discrimination in all the fields including funds allotment and employment continues and will continue till the Government changes its attitude and shuns discrimination to pave way for equitable justice as is suggested in the editorial.
Yours etc…
