Jammu Startup Community organizes workshop

JAMMU, July 21: Continuing its monthly startup events, Jammu Startup Community conducted workshop on funding for startups, here today.
On the occasion, Jitesh Agarwal, Founder of Mumbai based TrueLife Consulting, was the guest speaker. Jitesh spoke about all aspects a startup needs to take care for being funding ready and also about at what stage what type of funds they can avail. He also answered various questions from participants.
The participants were young entrepreneurs and students, who aspire to start their own businesses.
Ishant Verma stated that across the globe and in cities like Bangalore, the startups are successful because they have a supportive ecosystem. Recently Kunal Shah, founder of Freecharge which got acquired by Snapdeal, also mentioned in one of his Facebook post for the need of these type of ecosystem in India for sustainable growth, he added.
The core team of this community which comprises of Ankush Gupta of ServicesMojo.com, Kanav Gupta of ZonixSoft.com, Sahil Varma of PureMart.in and Vaibhav Sharma from TravelDost.com have great plans to have more events, hackathons and hands on workshops with experts from across India.
Ankush mentioned that they also want to seek support from Government, academic institutions and civic societies to take this to next level.
