JAMMU, July 23: Aditya Mahajan son of Atul Gupta who hails from Jammu city and is an expert in the field of cyber and computer forensics, was recently been listed among top 20 digital forensic professionals in India.
The list was published by one of the scientists on a blog “www.digital4n6india.com”. Aditya did his master’s degree in digital forensics from the premier Gujarat forensic sciences university. He has worked with top consulting firms in India which include Deloitte and PwC (Price WaterHouse Coopers).
Aditya has worked on multiple large financial fraud and forensic investigation cases in India. He is one of the sons of soil who have worked on few big cases on digital forensic investigations and data leakage related cases in India.
At very early stage in his career, he had set up a Computer forensics laboratory for a consulting firm in India. He is one among few persons in India who was recommended for an Internship at Interpol during his master’s degree. He has received multiple awards and appreciations from various institutions and organizations for his work and research on the field of digital forensic investigations.
His research has been published in various international journals covering topics on mobile and computer forensics. He also published an article in the Police BPR&D journal (Bureau of Police Research and Development).
Aditya’s experience counts multiple high profile cyber forensic investigations during the course of his career. He has worked on large corporate investigations involving business email compromise, whistleblower investigations, investigation of compromised servers, websites and systems involving malwares.
He is also experienced in working on court related forensic investigations. Living in India did not stop him from working on global assignments involving different countries like USA, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Germany, etc.
