JAMMU: There was no respite from the heat wave in this winter capital of the state as the city registered another hottest day with maximum temperature recorded at 40.5 degree Celsius, while the minimum stood at 24.6 degrees.
”The temperature in the last days fluctuated between 30 degrees to 35 degrees (maximum) and 20 degrees to 24 degrees (minimum) due to cloudy weather and showers,” a weatherman here said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was 39.4 degrees.
Earlier on April 20, Jammu witnessed season’s hottest day with maximum temperature recorded at 41.7 degrees, while previously also the maximum temperature recorded was 41.2 degrees and 39.2 degrees, respectively.
The weatherman, however, predicted that the tomorrow sky will be partly cloudy and maximum and Minimum temperatures will be around 41 degrees and 23 degrees, respectively. (AGENCIES)
