Jammu as separate State will lead to development: Mankotia

UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: Reiterating the demand of separate Statehood for Jammu, former MLA & NPP president Balwant Singh Mankotia today claimed that separate Statehood movement was garnering mass support from every nook and corner of the Jammu province.
While addressing the monthly meeting at Party office Udhampur, Mankotia said that it is the only and ultimate remedy of the problem which can take Jammu towards development. He also said that separate statehood will also provide employment which is the main reason of drawing educated youth towards drug abuse.
Mankotia revealed that the way this movement was getting response, it would reflect in forthcoming coming Municipal elections.
Mankotia said that the public showcasing support to Panthers Party for making Jammu a separate State has proved that the people have decided to make Jammu a separate State.
Mankotia further informed that making Udhampur City drug free was prime motive of the Panthers and for this marathon was organized in the previous days and the next marathon run would be held on September 16, which will commence from Jakhani and concludes in Rathian.
Mankotia appealed locals to join the Statehood movement for making it successful.
Scores of workers including senior leaders were present during the monthly meeting.
