Jammu Printing Entrepreneurs attend IGAS-18 in Tokyo

JAMMU, Aug 6: Printers from Jammu attended the IGAS-18-an event of entrepreneurs from across the world at Tokyo, Japan from July 26 to 31 under the banner of All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), Delhi.
Arun Gupta immediate past Vice President (North) AIFMP accompanied by Rakesh Mehta and Prabha Mehta of Mehta Brothers, Jyoti Gupta of Creative Printers, Gulshan Gupta and Sushma Gupta of C.K Printers & Publishers attended the exhibition.
International Graphic Art Show (IGAS) is held every two years and is considered as one of the best and biggest exhibition of allied printing machinery and digital technology which is fast competing the age old offset machines.
This time, the major thrust at the event was on digital printing machines which will be a major threat to the Sheetfed Offset Printing Machines and the way they are coming out in every field. In this context it is pertinent to mention here that the day is not far-off, when the conventional machines will not be able to stand against the emerging quality and speed.
The AIFMP arranged meetings with the stalwarts of the machine manufacturers-Screen, Fuji film, Mitsubishi and arranged a visit to the Kamori factory.
All major companies of Japan in the field of pre press and post press activities showcased their products during this exhibition.
President AIFMP, Ashokem led this delegation comprising many printers of renown including Rajindra Jain and Arvind Badjatia.
