According sanction for rail link from Jammu to Poonch by Narendra Modi Govt, ushered a new chapter of development for district Rajouri and Poonch. With approval of the project, not only the promises made by BJP in Lok Sabha election during 2014 seem fulfilled but the long outstanding demand of the people of these districts has been calmed. Surely, the project and its benefits would be long lasting and helpful in alleviating poverty, backardness and would accelerate economic development with creation of employment opportunities and business activities. The rail link is considered a unique welfare measure for the masses in this region by Modi Ji and to tell it a historical decision may not be an exaggeration or over excitedness.
