Jammu people deprived of basic amenities: Hari Singh

JAMMU, Sept 14: President DCC Jammu Rural, Hari Singh Chib has alleged that the worst ever mis-governance and misrule of BJP Government has left the people of the State in lurch and the overall situation deteriorated in the State.
Addressing a meeting of all Block presidents of Congress District Rural here today, Chib lambasted the Government for not showing its serious concern towards the problems being faced by the people of the State.
“The people who voted them to power faced frequent power cuts, acute shortage of drinking water, price rise of essential commodities and other issues, “ Chib alleged.
He criticized the Government over the alleged chronic power outages and inconsistent water supply in Jammu. He alleged that road infrastructure was also in shambles.
Chib asserted that the PoK refugees are also victim of Government apathy. He said that most of the PoK Refugees are not getting their dues after an announcement of PM Modi of Rs 2000 crores. He said only some cases were cleared rest all are knocking the doors of offices for payment.
Romal Singh Sarpanch and president Block Dansal said that more than 10 months has been passed and no development has been received. He said that there is uncertainty across the state.
Ravinder Singh, Mohan Choudhary and Prem Singh Chib, senior party leaders also spoke on the occasion.
