JAMMU, Feb 18: Jammu is fast progressing on the path of massive growth and development and now it is the prime responsibility of BJP workers to reach out to the poor and the weaker sections of the society and ensure that the public welfare schemes reach them, stated BJP State general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta.
Vibodh accompanied by BJP Jammu district president, Vinay Gupta was addressing a meeting of officer bearers, Mandal presidents and Morcha presidents of district Jammu at BJP office at Kachi Chawni here.
Vibodh Gupta, while addressing the meeting, said that people in Jammu have been supporting BJP since many decades not for their personal interests but in the larger interest of the country. For this they never bothered about their petty gains but supported the party for the sake of unity and integrity of the country. He also called upon the party leaders and workers to work hard and try to help people in whatever way they can.
While referring to the various welfare schemes launched by the Central Government under the leadership of PM Modi, Vibodh said that BJP leaders and workers have huge responsibility to keep the common man well informed about these schemes so that benefit of these schemes must reach to poor and weaker sections of the society. He also highlighted various aspects of the recent industrial package of Rs. 28000 crore, sanctioned by Modi Government and how it will create tremendous job opportunities for the unemployed youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
On this occasion Vibodh also emphasized on the fact that BJP is the only party which gives equal opportunities to its hard working workers and leaders. He highlighted the example of Prime Minister, Modi who has risen from a very humble background and because of his sheer hard work and sincerity towards the country he became Prime Minister of the country. On this occasion, Vibodh also joined all the party leaders and workers in expressing serious concern over yesterday’s incident of firing on the son of a famous Dhaba owner in Kashmir. He stressed on the need for ensuring that such incidents are not repeated in future.
