NEW DELHI: For the convenience of rail passengers, Railways will be introducing two express train service between Jammu and Haridwar and from Gorakahpur to Gomtinagar from August 15.

While the Jammu – Haridwar – Jammu weekly express train will start from Jammu station, Gorakhpur – Gomtinagar – Gorakhpur daily Express will begin its regular journey from Gorakhpur on August 15.

The Haridwar – Jammu Tawi Weekly Express will depart from Haridwar at 5.10 PM on every Monday to reach Jammu at 4 AM the next day from August 15 while in the return direction, the Jammu – Haridwar Weekly Express will depart from Jammu at 10.10 PM on every Sunday from August 21 to reach Haridwar at 10.25 AM the next day, according to a release.

Consisting of one AC 2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, nine sleeper class, five General Class and two second class cum luggage van coaches, the  Jammu – Haridwar – Jammu Weekly Express train will stop at Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Khanna, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala City, Jagadhari and Saharanpur stations enroute in both the directions.
