Jammu girl Meet Kour’s “Hashtag” song nominated for PTC Star Music Awards

JAMMU, Dec 4: “Hashtag”, a Punjabi hit by Jammu girl, Meet Kour, who have created a buzz in Music Industry of Punjab with her songs, has been nominated for PTC Star Music Awards 2018.
This is first time when a song sung by a J&K singer has been nominated for PTC Star Music Awards, stated Meet Kour, while addressing a press conference here today along with her actor and writer friend, Raja Sarfaraz.
Meet appealed her fans in J&K to vote for her. Describing the process of voting, she said that to vote for her, one have to follow her on Facebook or other social media sites and follow instructions after clicking on the given link.

She told fans that one can vote three times and voting lines are open till December 7. “The award ceremony will be held on December 8, where I will perform live for PTC Star Music Awards”, Meet Kour, who is famous for her splendid work in Punjab industry especially for some hits like Tape, Hashtag, Chalaaka exclusive on 9X Tashan, stated.
While speaking on the occasion, Raja Sarfaraz said, “It’s time to vote and support proud daughter of the soil. Her Hashtag song is my favourite. Everyone must come forward and vote for this song and make entire State honoured and obliged by winning this precious award first time in history of J&K”.
Sarfaraz also threw light on his recently published book ‘Tears of Kashmir’, which was selected in India’s biggest book fair at Pragati Maidan, Delhi and nominated for few international literary awards.
