JAMMU, July 16: The ‘Jammu Gems and Jewellery Show’ was officially inaugurated by Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu and Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor Jammu.
The show was inaugurated in the presence of Govind Verma Chairman and Managing Director Jewel Trendz, Raman Suri President Sarafa Association Jammu Province who is also Vice-President IBJA J&K along with his team, Raj Kumar Babbar President Swarnkar Sangh Jammu Province who is also Senior Vice-President All-India Swarnkar Sangh along with his team, Rajesh Gupta Working President Vishwa Hindu Parishad Jammu Kashmir Ladakh, Kartik Sudan President Bajrang Dal J&K and Ladakh UTs, Ajay Talla President IBJA J&K and his team, Kulbhushan Anand Chairman Swarnkar Sangh Ad-hoc Committee Jammu City and his team.
Govind Verma CMD Jewel Trendz said that this event is aimed at promoting trade opportunities in the Jammu Gems and Jewellery Industry with more than forty jewellers from all over India participating in this B2B Jewellery Exhibition, which has an expected footfall of more than two-hundred local jewellery establishments.
Raman Suri President Sarafa Association Jammu Province, while addressing the gathering, said that this is a first-of-its-kind event in Jammu post abrogation of Article 370, which signifies that India is one from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari. This show will prove to be a gateway for investments and opportunities not only for the jewellers of J&K but also for those from all over the country.
Raj Kumar Babbar President said that the initiative taken by the organizers Jewel Trendz Private Limited and IBJA of conducting jewellery exhibition in all 28 States and 8 Union Territories will prove to be a blessing to the local business owners who want to expand their businesses and boost their connections.
Ajay Talla, President IBJA J&K welcomed all on behalf of the India Bullion and Jewellers Association.
Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor Jammu said that the coming of such events in our city of temples, Jammu gives a clear message of progress and development in the Union Territory.

The ‘Jammu Gems & Jewellery Show’, the inaugural edition of IBJA’s ‘India Gems & Jewellers Expo (Kashmir-Kanyakumari)’, has been organised by Jewel Trendz today and tomorrow at Hotel Radisson Blu Jammu.
