Jammu East to set example for others to follow: Gupta

JAMMU, June 11: Jammu  East MLA and BJP chief whip in Assembly,  Rajesh Gupta today laid the foundation of a community hall of Kashyap Rajput Sabha  Peer Kho in Ward No. 3 which will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 37 lakh.
The MLA released Rs 10 lakh for the same and said that he will take up the issue with Government for release of more funds so that the community hall is completed in time.
The MLA also laid foundation of a hall near Aap Shambu Mandir, Peer Kho in Ward Number 3 and released Rs four lakh for it.
In the same programme the MLA distributed cheques to the recent fire victims. The MLA was  accompanied by ACG Sachin Dev Jamwal, Naib Tehsildar  Farooq Mirza & Yash  Paul and Xen JMC  Satish Kumar Wali, JE R.K. Koul, Kashyap Rajput Sabha members Ram Lubhaya, Chamanlal, Ashok, Jeetraj and BJP leaders Ramesh Sharma and Rajeev Bharadwaj.
Besides members of Ram Ashram Committee Ram Niwas Aggarwal,Rajinder Abrol, Sunil Gupta and Arun Gupta were also present on the occasion.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that BJP is marching forward under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with confidence and in a matter of few years India would come to stand amongst the very top most countries in the world. “In our State also we have to rally around the policies of the BJP Government to make a positive transformation in our lives’’. He said that Jammu East Constituency has to set an example for others to follow and also encourage people to take part in the developmental process.
The MLA said that Ram Nivas Ashram which was damaged in 2014 floods has been completed for which he paid Rs 25 lakh out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Kuldeep Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Prof. Shyam, Rajesh Nischal, Narottam  Sharma, Amit Khanna, Navin Gupta, Rajinder Sikka, Shashi Sapolia and Dhansaroop.
