Jammu Dogras living in Uganda form body

JAMMU, Nov 16: Dogra community people living in Kampala, Uganda have formed “Jammu Dogra Association Uganda” (JDAU).
This is for the first time that such an initiative has been taken by the Dogra people living in Uganda, who came together and formed an association on the eve of Diwali.
According to Gourva Gupta, Convener of the Association, who is an alumnus of Jammu University and presently working with a bank in Uganda, the Jammu Dogri community members also organized a get together for the first time at Kampala and jointly celebrated Diwali.
Informing that the dinner was planned on the theme of Jammu delicacies, Gourav Gupta extended an open invitation to all the Dogras living in Uganda to come forward and join the JDAU for more interactions and strengthening the community bond.
