RAMNAGAR, Apr 8: Ranbir Singh Pathania, spokesperson, State BJP and former MLA while addressing largely attended public meetings at Ramnagar, Dhassar, Bainsta, Pinger, Manwal, Nalah Mallian, Chowki, Neeli, Tenani, villages, appealed people to vote and support MP candidate, Dr Jitendera Singh.
He further said that those people who have remained in power for decades and decades having failed to deliver, have now taken to novel habit of blowing trumpets of discrimination with Jammu and Dogras. He further said that the people of Jammu want an answer from these self-styled messiahs of Duggar land as to who was in power when Jammu region was allocated lesser number of representation in Assembly and lesser administrative units despite having greater population.
Besides why reports of various commissions like Gajendra Gadkar Commission, Sikri Commission and Wazir Commission were shelved in the obscure almirahs of the powers that be with least follow up action.
He also asked why these so called votaries of Jammu were dumb founded when the seat freeze law barring delimitation till 2026 was passed through in the State Legislature. Whereas both these aspiring MPs who are everyday delivering pedantic speeches and chest-beating on ‘Justice with Jammu’ were members of State Legislature when this law was passed. And a reply to an application under JK RTI Act has testified that these high-profile MP candidates had kept mum and thereby facilitating the safe passage of the controversial, anti-Jammu law.
The people of Udhampur cannot forget that when they had given full majority and mandate to one of the leaders of a party in Lok Sabha elections of 1988 and the latter, in turn, is widely known to have compromised and sold the peoples’ mandate during counting of votes.
He further said that NDA Government at the Centre has set new standards of good and selfless governance. Referring to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s commitment to take India to new heights, he said that the nation is bound to touch new horizons in every field under his leadership. The new India movement 2019-24 envisages an India free of poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism, and un-cleanliness.
Speaking on the occasion he drew the attention of the audience to the urgent need to reform and transform India, through a common resolve for positive transformation.
He recalled various welfare schemes like PM Kissan Samridhi Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, PMAY, PMUY, SBM, Mudra Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana and almost 100 other flagship welfare schemes launched by Modi Government at the Centre which have struck a direct chord with the people of India.
