JAMMU, Aug 27: Jammu and Kashmir Green Drive organized by Forest Protection Force Personnel of Gamma Unit J2 Sidhra under the supervision of Deputy Director and Assistant Directors concluded today.
The drive was carried out at FPF Gamma unit J2 Sidhra, reporting Centres Jagti Nagrota, Behrewala Akhnoor and Mansar from the first week of July, 2022, which concluded today at Gamma unit J2 Sidhra.
The officials of the unit planted about 950 sapling of different species including ornamental, fruit bearing, medicinal and seasonal plants at Gamma Unit J2 Sidhra and in respective Reporting Centres.
The drive was aimed to mitigate air pollution, increase the city green cover and oxygen quality in the air.
