SRINAGAR, Oct 17: The 8th meeting of the Board of Governors of Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA) was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khandey.
The Board of Governors reviewed the progress of implementation of various IT initiatives including IT enablement of the Prisons Department, Courts, Legislative Assembly, and Legislative Council besides establishment of Disaster Recovery Sites and State Wide Area Network (SWAN) for establishing a secured Government data network.
Secretary, Information Technology Parvez Malik briefed the meeting on the progress of various e-governance projects under implementation in the State.
