Jaitley pleases all–from youth to senior citizens

NEW DELHI, Feb 28:  The Narendra Modi Government today came  out with a bagful of schemes for everyone — from youth to senior citizens and women to minorities — in its first full-fledged  General Budget for 2015-16.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley proposed ‘Nayi Manzil’ scheme for the youth belonging to minorities and ‘Atal Pension Yojana’ catering to senior citizens.
The ‘Nayi Manzil’ scheme will enable youth belonging to minorities lacking school-leaving certificates to get employment, he said.
Mr Jaitley said, “In order to support security of women, I have decided to provide another Rs 1000 crore to Nirbhaya fund.”    The government also proposed to establish a mechanism of ‘self employment’ to support all aspects of start-up businesses.  (UNI)
