MUMBAI, May 30: Jain Irrigation Systems, a leading manufacturer of irrigation systems, plastic sheets and pipes and fittings, has said its net profit was down by 75 per cent to Rs 41.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 against Rs 173.12 crore for the same quarter last year.
The net sales for the quarter fell marginally by 0.20 per cent to Rs 12,09.15 crore.
The board of directors has declared a dividend on ordinary equity / DVR equity shares at Rs 0.50 a share (25 pc) of the company, a company release said.
