Jagti residents concern over surfacing of COVID positive case

JAMMU, June 3: The inhabitants of Jagti township while expressing concern over surfacing of COVID-19 case in the township have accused the authorities of their failure in taking pre-emptive measures in the area.
In a statement issued here, today Sunil Pandita a social activist demanded that the area be immediately quarantined and police be deployed in the township to keep the watch over the entry of COVID positive cases. He said about 25,000 people reside in the township and authorities should not put them to risk. The outsiders’ entry especially from Kashmir valley or other states be not allowed without testing for COVID-19.
