JAMMU, June 3: A delegation of Joint Front Jagti Township led by Roshan Lal Raina called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, T K Bhat and discussed the problems of camp inmates with him.
The delegation expressed grave concern over scarcity of drinking water and demanded that the present water supply scheme be handed over to PHE Department. It also demanded electrification of Cremation Ground, supply of fire wood by Forest Department for Cremation Ground and construction of four community halls in the township.
It also informed the RRC that the renovation of quarters at Jagti is still incomplete and standard of work be maintained.
The RRC assured that the road to Cremation Ground will be constructed soon and he urged the officers to approach Forest Department for the supply of fire wood.
Others in the delegation included Ashok Ji Dhar, Sohan Lal, B L Hangloo, Ravinder and A K Sadhu.
