JAC of Engineering Associations offers voluntary support in combating COVID-19

JAMMU, Mar 26: The Joint Action Committee of Engineering Graduates Associations has offered its voluntary support to the Government in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
The JAC impressed upon the engineers to work with more zeal and zest in delivering the essential services and stressed upon its members to keep themselves ready for any kind of services the Government may require from them in these hours of crisis. The JAC requested the public in general to cooperate with the Government in the fight against Corona pandemic by staying at home and maintaining social distance.
The JAC impressed on the Government to keep all the necessary medical aid and gadgets like Mouth Masks, Hand Sanitizers, Gowns etc available to all the engineers and field staffers who are discharging essential services duties like water supply, mechanical hospital services, electric supply etc during the Novel Covid-19 pandemic in the UT’s of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The JAC highlighted the need for such precautionary measures for those engineers and officials who are out in the field doing their duties in these testing times and urged up the administration to make all such life saving aids available to them. The JAC requested the Chief Engineers of PHE, MED KPDCL to take up the matter of hassle free movement of those engineers and field officials who are doing the duties of essential services with the divisional administrations.
