JAMMU, Feb 23: Government has appointed former Commissioner/ Secretary H&UDD Jeet Lal Gupta as Chairperson of J&K State Commission for Backward Classes for a period of three years.
An order in this regard was issued by Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department Sajad Ahmad Khan.
The Government has also appointed Gh Nabi Bodha, retired Director Social Welfare Department and Haider Badana, retired Senior Superintendent of Police as Members of the Commission.
It is pertinent to mention here that Jeet Lal Gupta is known for his integrity and professionalism. He has already been given several awards including Gold Medal by the State Government.
