JAMMU, Jan 23: Three day IT Expo organized by Jammu Computer Dealer Association (JCDA) commenced here.
The JCDA IT Expo has been considered as the most powerful, flexible and highly cost-effective business tool, as well as, being a significant wealth generator in its own right.
The expo was inaugurated by Dr Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Billawar.
The major sponsors for the IT show this year is MN-MDR Technologies, whereas the associate sponsors include Dell, D-Link, Pole Star Security and Tally Accounting Software.
There are around 40 stalls in the expo where various multinational brands are showcasing their latest developments and product range.
“Major focus this year would be Social Mobile Analytic Cloud Computing (SMACC), which includes products like Tabloids, Cloud Computing, Latest Processing Technologies, Large Format Printers, Large format Displays, Network Storages, Latest Networking and Wireless Products, Electronic Security Products, Broadband and many more. Every year we organize this event to introduce the latest technologies to the people of Jammu”, said Dikshit Gupta, President, JCDA.
It is also known that the JCDA IT Expo has a major impact on the local and national economies by helping in creating employment directly or indirectly, by assisting the development of small and medium enterprises, he added.
Dikshit Gupta stated that “The JCDA IT Expo has been one of the most effective mediums for establishing and maintaining customer relations, as seen earlier also, adding that in an increasingly digital age, we are the only media in Jammu through which the IT buyers, sellers and products physically come together, to form a potent force for business”.
“We also provide a highly flexible environment in which a wide range of sales and marketing objectives can be achieved; from generating sales leads and launching new products, to building brand image, maintaining customer relations and appointing new agents”, added Gupta.
He also spoke about the advantages of holding the IT Expo in Jammu and urged the people of Jammu to visit the event and take the maximum advantage from these kinds of events.
“It is rare for a customer to get an opportunity to see a plethora of IT and Security products under one roof in this town and this is the main reason that JCDA was a success in earlier years too”, stated Gupta.
