JAMMU, Apr 21: National Conference Minority Cell president M K Yogi has urged the CAPD Department to take immediate steps in supplying ration to migrant ration depots in the camps and non camp localities.
In a statement issued here today Mr Yogi said as the Government has revoked the decision of providing ration to migrants on the basis NFSA and replaced it on pattern of old scale the CAPD authorities should take immediate steps in releasing the same as many families who have not been provided the ration for last two months are in great problem.
He said the NC Minority Cell had already made it clear to Government that NFSA was not applicable to migrants as they are dependent on cash dolls from the Government and the ration provided to them is debited to security related expenses. He said unnecessary the CAPD created a confusion and put the migrants to problems after brining them under NFSA.
