Issue of harassment of 2 youth in Noida resolved: Govt

 

SRINAGAR:  Jammu and Kashmir government today said that the issue of alleged harassment of two Kashmiri youth in Noida in National Capital Region (NCR) has been resolved.

“Two youth, Hilal Ahmad and Showkat Ahmad, who are working with MBD group in Noida, entered into a heated argument with locals over some petty issue at their hostel,” Minister for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari informed the Legislative Assembly today.

“After the issue was raised in the Assembly on June 11, the issue was taken up with the concerned authority and it was resolved to the satisfaction of the Kashmiri youth,” he said.

The State Government had asserted in the House that it will intervene into allegations that some Kashmiri youth, who are undergoing trained under Udaan outside the State, were being harassed.(Agencies)
