SRINAGAR, Mar 29: IRP 11th Battalion hosted a simple but impressive ceremony in the lawns of DPL Anantnag to bid adieu to its 9 officers/officials who are superannuating at the end of this month.
Commandant of the Unit Sandeep Mehta (SSP) and the staff honoured each retiring officer/official with token gifts and wished the retiring officers/officials a very happy, cheerful and healthy retired life. The highlight of the function was that all the retiring officers except one were handed over their pension papers complete in all respects from AGs office.
Those who are retiring include SI Abdul Majeed, SI Mohd Maqbool, SI Ali Mohammad, ASI Mohd Hussain, ASI Mushtaq Ahmad, W/ASI Mahjabeen Akhter, HC Abdul Rashid, Follower Mohd Akram and Follower Abdul Rashid. Most of them have rendered more than 30 years of service.
The Commandant, Deputy COs and all other staff members extended good wishes to the retirees for their post-retirement life.
