Mumbai, Jan 30: The 45th National Awards for Export Excellence for the year 2012-13 were given away by EEPC India in a glittering function held in Mumbai. Through the annual national awards, EEPC India recognises the outstanding performance in various engineering export categories. Mohan Tiwari, CMD, Ircon International Limited, received the Gold Trophy for Project export from the Chief Guest, Dr James S Mutende, Minister of State for Industry and Technology, Uganda. IRCON’s turnover is growing at a CAGR of 15% and profitability at a rate of 40% in the last 5 years with 50% of the turnover from overseas projects. IRCON achieved Rs. 1,000 crore Profit before Tax during 2012-13.
