SAMBA, Aug 3: The irate residents of Nandpur held a protest demonstration and ghearoed the Grid Station today.
The protestors raising slogans against the PDD authorities accused them for their failure in giving connection to 10mva transformer in the area which has been installed a long time back.
They said the people of the area are facing power crisis due to low capacity transformer and the new transformer which was installed on the demand of the people has not been given connection till date.
They warned to intensify agitation in case the department failed to give connection to the new transformer immediately.
