ISLAMABAD, Apr 21: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is scheduled to pay a visit to Pakistan from April 22 to 24, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said on Sunday.
Raisi will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising the Iranian foreign minister and other members of the cabinet, senior officials and business delegation during the three-day visit to Pakistan, the ministry said in a statement.
The Iranian president will call on the Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari and other key leaders, according to the statement.
The Ministry said that the two sides will have a wide-ranging agenda to further strengthen Pakistan-Iran ties and enhance cooperation in diverse fields including trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, and people-to-people contacts. (UNI)
