JAMMU, Apr 22: The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed 2013 batch AGMUT Cadre IPS officer Ashish Kumar Mishra as Commandant (General Duty) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on deputation.
As per an official memorandum, the competent authority has approved his appointment under the usual terms and conditions of deputation, and he has been asked to be relieved immediately to take up the new assignment.
Mishra has previously served in Jammu and Kashmir, including as SSP Srinagar.
