JAMMU, Apr 21: Nora Chopra, a senior journalist with more than three decades of experience in political journalism, passed away on April 20.
She was a weekly columnist with IPA for more than 15 years. Nora started her career in journalism with The Pioneer and Northern India Patrika and later contributed to a large number of papers including The Telegraph, Rashtriya Sahara, Sunday Guardian and Punjab Keshari. Her political columns were widely read and she had wide contacts in political parties.
President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, Congress president, Sonia Gandhi as also many senior political leaders condoled her untimely demise.
