JAMMU, Feb 28: Bhishma, the Determination Award 2021, a one-day event was organized under the banner of AIPA and in collaboration with Trinity, the complete school solutions and International Daily Rising School at Teacher’s Bhavan here today.
The event was organised to honour the educators who have exhibited the ultimate dedication towards the students and have contributed to the improvement of the Education sector. Bhishma Award is an outcome of seamless efforts made by the jury which includes nomination, thorough research and categorization of the nominees on the basis of various parameters for selection of educators.
The chief guest, Abdul Majid Bhat, Secretary to Govt Administrative Reforms, Inspections and Trainings Deptt while speaking on the occasion said, “Edu-Summit Awards provide a medium for the collaboration of ideas to prosper development and initiate new milestones of brilliance in the Education sector by providing a common platform for people across the country to interact and communicate for the common good.”
Many noted personalities were a part of this event who shared their thoughts and life experiences to guide the educators.
The function was presided by Devendra V Deshpande, Vice President, ICSI, New Delhi; Rishi Prakash Singh Coordinator, ICSI Jammu Chapter.
The guests of honour Dr Geoff Lyonel Jonathan, CEO Apex Public School, Vice President Progressive Schools, New Delhi; Var GN, president Private Schools Association & Kashmir Private Coaching Centres (Srinagar) and Ashok Gupta, president Jammu Private Coaching Centres (Jammu)also graced the occasion.
About 200 Directors, Principals and owners from different parts of the country were selected for this honour and were invited to mega event. Navdeep Bhardwaj, the President (AIPA), Principal DAV School Lehra Gaga Punjab; Dr Atul Hans Vice President (AIPA), Director Principal, International Daily Rising School, Jammu.
Pawan Gupta, general secretary (AIPA), Motivational speaker & Life coach and founder Director Trinity graced the occasion and also conducted a workshop on `Effective Leadership’.
The panel discussion was based on the New Education Policy (NEP 2020)- its Implementation and Challenges.
The award ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana and a welcome Song by the students of IDRS
Supinder Kaur, Chairperson, IDRS said,”AIPA has brought school leaders from across India on a single platform, where knowledge sharing is an integral part ultimately leading to a well-structured social group of like-minded people.”
