Install Maharaja Gulab Singh statue at Kunjwani Chowk: Rajput Sabha

JAMMU, Dec 4: Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha reiterated its demand for installation of the statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh at Kunjwani crossing on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway.
Addressing a press conference, Narayan Singh, President, Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha said that Sabha is surprised to know day to day developments with regards to installing of statue of various personalities at Jammu Rotary Kunjwani Chowk.
He said that the people from different walks of life talk about installation of statues without going through the realities and create confusion among the masses.
Such people do not speak the truth knowingly, deliberately for their vested interests, Singh alleged.
Rajput Sabha from the past twelve years is pursuing for installation of statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh, founder of J&K State at Kunjwani Chowk, the site selected by the then Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah, Narayan Singh informed.
The sign board was accordingly erected at the site by the Sabha, he added.
