Inspectors of J&K Police

Sir,
This letter has reference to article “Inspectors of J&K Police: Victim of Official Apathy and Humiliation” DE Mar 2, 2021 by Parveen Gupta.
A calculated and a clever move by a section of Inspectors of Police, who have a very weak case for their promotions and the fixing of seniority, by going to press through proxy abetted and sponsored with the help of Praveen Gupta, the author of this post and make an effort to misleadingly influence the sacred and impartial system of justice by malicious and false references about this whole case. This case is pending disposal in the ‘Hon’ble Court of the “Central Administrative Tribunal”, Jammu Branch, Jammu.
Probably, the author of this editorial post has tried to sit in judgement in this case as a private individual, when its final disposal is pending in the Hon’ble Tribunal as referred to above. This presumptive author has thus trespassed the annals and channels of justice by trying to acquire the judicial powers of the Hon’ble Tribunal, where this case is under judicial scrutiny and the said author has contemptuously declared the judgement in this case, in favour of his sponsors certainly at their asking and initiation. The final judgment is yet to come through the above said Hon’ble Tribunal, where this case is under judicial scrutiny.
The background of this case is summarily mentioned here, when it is a case which is subjudice since long. Some inspectors of J&K Police approached the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir long back in the matter of the fixing of their seniority, with a writ petition against some order of J&K Police and made other such Inspectors of Police as the defendants who are genuinely placed in the cadre as per the seniority lists of such Inspectors. The Hon’ble High Court referred the case to the “Central Administrative Tribunal”, Jammu Bench, Jammu, being an administrative matter.
By resorting to the modus operandi of going to print media as an editorial column through the illegal courtesy of Praveen Gupta, a serious contempt of judicial process has been committed by Praveen Gupta, to make reflections of judicial predicaments in this case, when the said case is pending disposal in a proper legal forum of this state. Impliedly Praveen Gupta has erroneously and illegally tried to influence the Hon’ble Tribunal by his willful wrong utterances in his editorial column through this newspaper. It is thus an established case of contempt of court on his part.
