JAMMU, Feb 1: The outgoing Director School Education Jammu R A Inqlabi conducted a two-day tour of the border area schools of Nowshera in Reasi district and took stock of the School Education Department functioning there.
Besides taking meeting of the Education Officers at Sunderbani, he visited Government Higher Secondary School Sunderbani and interacted with the students as well as staff of the institution.
On way to Nowshera, the Director inspected the Middle School Balshama, Girls High School Siot and Govt Higher Secondary School Lamberi. He instructed the Principal and ZEO to immediately start morning prayer in the schools besides organizing assembly and symposium on different topics so that the student become fully aware of latest technology and techniques. The all round development of the students is essential for the development of the society, he added. Mr Inqlabi also stressed that parent-teacher meetings should be held on monthly basis besides imparting moral education to the students.
The Director also visited Government Higher Secondary School Rajpur Kamila, situated near Line of Control in Nowshera.
Joint Director School Education, Safe Ali, Deputy Chief Education Officer Nowshera, ZEO Sunder Bani and ZEO Nowshera accompanied the Director.
