inner voice

                        At Holy Dargah Hazratbal

Aweful sight of swollen Dal
The furious Veth was pouncing it
Like a hungry wolf in a fit.
The magnificient Naseem Bagh
The whole campus sans water logg
Was indeed a heaven undrenched
The thirst of Veth being quenched
By the torrential downpour
That might have happened of yore
The placid Veth went mad
The fate of the people was gloomily clad
Kashmir, the miracle of God
Thrashed to pulp with a watery rod
Of thousands feet of gushing water
Erasing everything, barrier or border
Became a fathomless watery grave
An open submerged burning cave.
Vodafone BSNLReliance Idea and Airtel
Their lofty towers bereft of signal
Forced the worried to go Ganderbal
And were welcomed by Aircel
Got delighted hearing the bell
Ringing at home distant, What a pell mell.
A sea of hapless people gone helter skelter
In quest of water food and shelter
Displayed vainglory of man
Cuffed by a watery chain
Of a humble natural force
All wept in distress, of course.
The rescue operations led by locals and army
Worth seeing scenes in weather stormy
Of man risking life for man
In inundated areas full of pain.
Loss was loss, loss was gain
Will it rain torrents again
Some thought so
As the whispers go
Charitable relief camps set up by the locals
These symbols of sympathy were the focals
Loud prayers offered and heads bowed
Humility owned and vibrantly showed
Begging God’s mercy for inadvertent sins
Hopeful to see again their trapped kins.
By the grace of Almighty, fog of fear will dispel
A new Paradise will emerge from watery hell.

FLOOD FURY

Recent unprecedented rains
and flood
Caused huge loss to properties,
lives and blood.
Many trapped on the house tops and in the streams,
Became helpless just to cry and scream.
Many lost their nearer and dearer,
For life many have been made to tear.
Only horror of water wherever you go,
Somewhere fast and somewhere  slow.
Nature has shown its superiority
and the way,
Made to realise that he is not
much away.
Many seats of power have been shaken,
From a deep slumber many
have awakened.
Death bodies of animals and
human beings are floating,
Distress call all over but still some
are looting.
Saviours of Nation and the
humanity are on their job,
Playing day and night with
their lives and rescuing all.
Helping the victims is the need of the hour,
Besides restoring the  system,
communication and the power.
Oh! Almighty let this havoc be not
repeated,
Although man only has much created.
By way of encroachments and illegal
constructions,
Disturbance of natural balance
is only cause of such destruction,

                           Love vs. Tolerance and hatred

Tolerance and acceptance both are the same,
As, all over the world, they’ve created fame.
They are the cause for narrow mindedness,
As they are leading to sense of separateness.
On the other hand, love means, happiness,
Which never leads to sadness.
Infact, it’s a real virtue,
But many people call tolerance as a real virtue.
Indian philosophy also supports ‘love’,
Because it’s support can flourish the world.
Tolerance is a potential volcano,
Which, many a times is volatile.
Whereas, love is an amazing lovely flower,
Which opens it’s beautiful petals when any one
Gives it proper sunlight and water.
So, tolerance and acceptance always end
with unhappiness,
And love is a virtue which ends the rule of
Negativity and unhappiness in this world
of desperation.
