"Pahalgam Attack-The Tribute"

The tourists enjoyed the beauty of the spots,

By moving to Baisran valley on the horse back.

Suddenly they heard the sounds of gun shots,

They couldn't understand, it was the terror attack

The Husband was shot dead in front of his wife,

She cried and begged for his life.

Nobody there who listened to her prayer,

The blood and blood was everywhere.

They were newly married six days ago,

But lost everything in a single go

She sat silent beside her beloved's dead body,

That wrenched the heart of everybody.

Nobody stopped the tears from their eyes,

On seeing her bangles, vermilion and wet eyes.

It was a gruesome attack, it was really shameful,

It was a cowardly attack, it was really painful.

It was condemned across the globe,

We will definitely go for a probe.

The loss they had will not be repaired,

But those who are involved shall not be spared.

Innocent Butterflies

Radiant butterflies danced in the amber light,

till a sudden black wind tore through the hush of the meadow.

Their delicate wings, once full of grace,

now trembled near coffins cradled along the barbed wire-

where even death dared to sigh with a semblance of beauty.

Across the vast march of centuries,

those innocent butterflies sought footsteps

etched not in dust, but in the edge of daggers-

a truth cut from time itself.

The wings of broken relationships flutter within the heart,

aching with unspoken farewells.

Yet the stubborn fire of love,

resilient and untamed,

burns on like a solitary platue beneath the cold sky.

RAINBOW

A colorful rainbow in the sky

Looks like it tells me to once try

To fly

And slide by

The colours of the rainbow

I do surely know

Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green Yellow all in a row,

Orange and red together they flow

Whenever I feel sad, it always has a smile to show.

I wish if the rainbow was always there

To the sun and the moon, it wouldn't be fair

But I do not care

I love the rainbow because of the happiness it does share

The excitement of seeing the rainbow I can't bear.
