Sir,
SRTC VRS employees are on the roads of Jammu. They have been there since they opted for VRS option. After retirement they have not been given their dues.
What wrong they did? These employees gave prime period of their life in the service of the State and opted the VRS scheme with the hope to look after their families regarding education, marriage of their children and construction of their left over houses or new houses. Had they ever thought of such type of treatment? Never they might have thought differently but the Govt has no sympathy for these poor and helpless people who are struggling for their bread and butter on the road of the State where they once ran their vehicles in the service of the people. What is the fault of these VRS employees of SRTC? There is need that some must come in rescue of these helpless VRS employees of SRTC to redress their case of pending dues. Let us hope some right thinking agency may come in rescue of these VRS employees. The Govt. agencies make a lot of drum beating to highlight the public concerns but where are those people in the case of these employees. The State Govt is not so poor to manage some funds to meet up the expenses or dues of these employees but it depends upon the positive intention of the Govt. to sort out the case of VRS employees of SRTC.
Yours etc…
