Sir,
I thank G D Sharma for enlightening the people of the State and Jammu region particularly for the write up ‘Unfair to plead that J&K has not yet merged with Union of India’, DE Oct 29,2016. It was sad to hear former Sadar-e-Riyasat making a statement in Parliament about the State having acceded and not merged. One can understand compulsions of National Conference leaders making such a statement as Kashmir is their core constituency. Times are not far away when decisions regarding intrastate equations amongst the three regions of the State would be made and this time, we, the Jammu Dogras should be ready. No more second grade citizenship. I look forward to people like G D Sharma and many others to come forward so that we don’t miss our goals this time, our self respect and level playing field. If this State has to stay united, onus is on everyone with no exceptions.
Yours etc…

Sir,
This has reference to some of the recent write-ups pertaining to Accession of Jammu & Kashmir with India published in this paper. Almost every author has made it clear that there is no ambiguity, doubt in Instrument of Accession signed by the Maharaja of Jammu & Kashmir Hari Singh.
Some political parties have been creating confusion among the masses of the State in this matter for their political interests. The people should go by the Instrument of Accession and Constitution of J&K State, and not by the misleading statements of the State leaders. GD Sharma in his article ‘ Unfair to plead that J&K has not yet merged with Union of India’, DE Oct 29, 2016 has very clearly cleared the mist over this issue. Those who question accession should go through this article, to get their doubts cleared. It will be a good enlightening experience. Let truth prevail.
Yours etc…
