JAMMU, Mar 26: The cultural wing of Information Department today organised a scintillating cultural programme at Tootian Wali Khui in Dansal where artists of the wing enthralled audience with Dogri, Pahari, Suffiana, Gojri, Punjabi and devotional songs.
The artists who presented colourful cultural items included Jeevan Sharma, Vijay Anand, Kamal Kumar, Bodh Raj, Sunil Sharma, Surjit Singh Sumbaria, Bunty Kumar, Kuldeep Raj, Archana Sharma and Zulikha Frid.
The aim to organise cultural programme in different areas of the Jammu region was to educate younger generation about their rich culture and heritage of the State.
It is the continuous efforts of the cultural wing of the department to arrange such type of cultural programme also in rural pockets of the Jammu region which depicting the State’s rich culture.
