JAMMU, Oct 22: An infant was knocked to death by a minibus at Bagh-e-Bahu area of the winter capital, this evening.
As per reports, 4-year-old Nitish son of Raj Kumar of Bagh-e-Bahu was playing outside his house, when a speedy mini-bus bearing registration number JK02AF-4863 knocked him, resulting into his on-spot death.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for postmortem.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the driver, who fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle.
