Infant dies, 5 injured in clash

RAMBAN, Sept 23: An infant was killed, while five others were injured in clash over land dispute in village Balti, falling under the jurisdiction of Dharamkund Police Station.
As per police sources, a woman was cutting grass along with her 6 months old female baby in village Balti. The relatives of the lady objected about the grass cutting and a clash broke out.
In the clash, an infant identified as Zamia, daughter of Mukhtyar Ahmed of village Batli received serious injuries and later succumbed to her injuries. Five persons also received injuries in the clash and were hospitalized.
However, acting swiftly, a team from Dharamkund Police Station rushed to the spot and arrested three persons.
A case under FIR Number 23/19 under relevant sections has been registered at Dharamkund Police Station and investigation started.
