REASI, Nov 11: After winning the majority in Municipal Committee Katra and getting unconditional support from an Independent candidate, BJP unit of Jammu and Kashmir today nominated Vimal Indu and Ajay Baru as party candidates for the post of President and Vice President of Katra Municipal Committee (KMC).
State vice president BJP, Arun Gupta announced the nomination. In the meeting all winning ward members along with senior core team of the town were present. Complimenting the State Unit and the support of all ward members, Vimal Indu and Ajay Baru assured the gathering that they will work for the betterment of the Katra people and development of the area.
Meanwhile ,BJP also nominated Sudesh Kumar Puri as president and Yog Raj as vice president for Reasi Municipal Committee.
