KATHUA, Nov 7: Senior RSS leader and its National Executive Member Indresh Kumar inaugurated over Rs one crore Bharatiya Vidya Mandir building at Mandli Billawar in Kathua district.
Speaking on the occasion the RSS leader commended the spirit of local people who donated 50 kanals of land for School. He said the School will emerge as a model institute and it will provide qualitative education to the local students.
Indresh Kumar, who was the chief guest on the occasion said the School will be of 12th standard and it will have affiliation with CBSE. He, while highlighting the role of Vidya Bharti said that it is not only providing education to the children but also imbibes moral among them to become the good citizens of tomorrow who feel pride in the thousands years of rich cultural heritage of the country and their region which we have forgotten due to the influence of Western countries and their rule.
Maintaining that our culture is our identity the RSS leader said to protect our rich cultural heritage it is the duty of the parents to imbibe the good moral values among their children.
The function was also addressed by All India president Vidya Bharti, Pardeep Kumar and president Bharatiya Shiksha Samiti J&K Ved Bushan .
Sunil Chalotra Principal Bharatiya Vidya Mandir also gave detailed information about the school.
On the occasion a cultural programme was presented by school children.
Meanwhile All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir (PM /Non-PM Package Employees) delegation met Indresh Kumar and apprised him about their plight, issues and hardships they are facing through the hands of administration.
The employees said that their demands are continuously being unheard by authorities and instead oppressive orders of withholding salaries are being issued by the D.D.O’s.
Pertinent to mention here that K.P employees are on agitation at Relief Commissioners Office Canal Road Jammu from May-12,2022 in wake of target killings by militants in Valley.
They told RSS leader that employees are under tremendous fear-psychosis after recent killings and threat letters issued by terrorist organisations.
Employees apprised him they will not move to Valley till conditions are conducive and fear free and said till then they are willing to perform their duties outside Valley specifically in R.C Office Jammu and other camp offices.
Employees said they have full faith in able leadership of PM Narendra Modi and requested him to apprise PM about their genuine concerns.
Indresh Kumar assured the delegation of his support in addressing their demands.
