JAKARTA, Mar 18: The World Bank on Monday forecast Indonesia’s economy will grow 6.2 percent this year, down slightly from its 6.3 percent estimate in December.
Inflation in Southeast Asia’s largest economy is expected at 5.5 percent this year and 5.2 percent in 2014, the World Bank projected in its quarterly economic outlook for Indonesia.
‘Private consumption is expected to remain the main driver for growth, potentially boosted by pre-election spending in the second half of the year,’ the World Bank said.
